Working for TRG doesn’t only give you a first-class working environment, regular training and the chance to work with a friendly, experienced team – you’ll also be working with some fun, sociable people who like to play as hard as they work!

Sports teams, parties, charity work, weekend trips – our staff like to enjoy themselves and we believe their extra-curricular activities help them work better in the office. Here are some of the recent activities in which our employees have taken part.

Rock & Goal charity event

Rock & Goal was a football tournament and rock concert organised in aid of the SMILE! Charity, which raises money to help children with facial deformities.

TRG sent along its finest players to take part in the football competition and, taking the proverb “It’s not the winning that counts, but the taking part” as their maxim, they gave their all over two days of matches in sweltering conditions.

Playing against some teams with much more experience and training, the TRG side, backed by a very vocal group of supporters, acquitted themselves with great enthusiasm and commitment, winning one and losing six of their seven games, but winning praise from their opponents for their never-say-die attitude.

Taking part in the tournament has inspired the players to train and play more often, so maybe next year they will bring the trophy back to TRG headquarters!

     

PC World Badminton Tournament

In November 2006, nine of TRG’s best badminton players took part in the annual MISA/PC World badminton tournament in Ho Chi Minh City. Cheered on by over 20 loyal supporters, TRG’s players did the company proud with one women’s doubles pair ranked in the top four.

     

Weekend Trips

TRG’s employees often get together and arrange unofficial weekend trips together, and with our staff coming from all over Vietnam, there is no shortage of different places for them to visit! Recent trips have included visits to Phan Thiet, Kien Giang and Gia Lai, as well as a jaunt over the border to Cambodia.
