Our Interns

Anh began her TRG internship in December 2006. An Accountancy major at the University of Auckland in New Zealand, she is currently working in TRG’s accounts department where her duties involve journal entry and reporting.

As well as learning to use important accounting applications such as Sun Systems and Vision, Anh is learning real-world skills which will be essential for her future career. “In my opinion, the theory we learn at university is often different from real work” she tells us. “Therefore at TRG I not only use my basic knowledge to complete tasks for my colleagues, but I also gain real experience in accounting and finance.”

But Anh feels she isn’t just improving her accountancy knowledge. “The internship will give me more opportunity to find a good job” she says.
 
 “It gives me an awareness of how professional a working environment should be, and how I should interact with my colleagues at all levels. It also gives me necessary skills and qualities such as independence, responsibility and motivation.”
