VinaCapital CanCham Charity Golf Tournament
Friday April 16th, 2010
Long Thanh Golf Resort
On Friday April 16th, CanCham and VinaCapital welcomed just under 100 golfers to the 3rd annual VinaCapital CanCham Charity Golf Tournament at Long Thanh Golf Club, from which all proceeds are going to the VinaCapital Foundation’s Heartbeat Vietnam charity.
To emphasize the fact that this tournament is not a competitive one, we put in place a number of ‘different’ novelty holes, which included the ‘Shooter/Shot Long Drive’ and the ‘Caddy Putt,’ both of which were big hits among the field of players.
Although the event is more for fun than anything else, we would still like to congratulate the winning team – Guy Berard, Chris Barnett, Sarah Barnett, and Guy Bourget, who came in with a gross score of 66, net 57.9.
Total money raised from the event was just over $8,000, which will be matched 100% by VinaCapital, and donated to Heartbeat Vietnam, who provide life-saving heart surgeries for Vietnamese children.
See here photos from the event, and we look forward to welcoming you at next years tournament!
