Thien Phuoc orphanage

21^st February 2008 TRG International delivered rice to all the children at Thien Phuoc – Orphanage for victims of Agent Orange

Thanks to the TRG click to donate Christmas campaign we were able to donate 1,220 kgs of rice to 122 children at Thien Phuoc Agent Orange orphanage.
Thien Phuoc is one of three charities sponsored by TRG, the other two are Saigon Children Charity and Wildlife At Risk.
The children at the Thien Phuoc orphanage are victims of Agent Orange, they are all disabled, abandoned and homeless. Agent Orange afflicts people in different ways from mental to physical disabilities and in some cases both at the same time. Some of the children at Thien Phuoc are so disabled that they can’t even talk, but they can all smile, and when you smile at them they smile back!

Without Thien Phuoc it is very likely that these kids would not be here to see another sun rise, thanks to your donations they will at least have food for the next few months.  “Spending time with these kids makes me realize how lucky I am, really none of us have anything to companion about!
