Eleanor Clapham

Eleanor is a remarkable young Australian woman who, after seeing a tuong performance in her native Australia, decided to move to Vietnam to learn how to perform traditional Vietnamese opera.

TRG have helped her by not only sponsoring her debut solo show at the Hanoi Opera House (which took place in December 2006) but also by designing and hosting her website, www.eleanorclapham.com. We’re also promoting traditional Vietnamese opera by launching our own site, www.vietnamopera.com.

Lorien Hamilton, Operations Director of TRG International said: “Operating in Vietnam for more than 13 years, we have always wanted to make more contribution to the country and we were eyeing the Vietnamese theatrical arts when Eleanor came to our attention. We immediately decided to help her, firstly by building her website, and now by sponsoring her show.
