The TRG Talk: Digital Transformation Series will share the latest insights, methods and technologies for organisations to successfully embrace a data-led, digital economy. Learn how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is driving greater speed, agility, accuracy, reducing costs and opening new streams of business activity not thought possible before. In Vietnam, technology is an identified key growth driver however a lack of AI and inadequate data quality are common obstacles obstructing progress.

Rick’s a serial Entrepreneur, Techie, Brit, baby boomer, and professional bean counter (hence the FCMA CGMA FCPA). He has worked for 40+ years in supermarkets, accounting profession, breweries, newsagents, defence manufacturing, IT, property development and BP, in the UK, China, Singapore, Switzerland and Vietnam. Posted to BP China as Finance Manager, then relocated to BP Vietnam in 1990 making him likely the longest Brit and one of the most seasoned expats in Vietnam.
Rick is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), a Fellow of CPA Australia, and has an MSc in Strategic Business Management from Manchester Metropolitan University, UK.
Matt Smith is head of pre-sales at Aim, running a consultancy service specialising in the provision of data governance software products to the global market.
Matt’s decade of consulting experience covers diverse system development and implementation projects across industries including banking, finance, pensions, BPO, shipping, not-for-profit and tech. His roles ranged from solution architecture, to project management and system development with a supported customer based in the millions.
