About the event
The TRG Project Management Talk this June will focus on the topic "An introduction to Project Risk Management". The workshop facilitator is Mr Brian O'Reilly MBA, PMP who is the MBA Program Coordinator at the Vietnamese-German University (VGU).
According to Brian, project risk is “an uncertain event or condition that, if occurs, has both the positive and the negative effect on one or more project objectives, such as scope, schedule, cost, or quality.”
The workshop will review the project risk management process of identifying, analysing, responding to, and controlling any risks that arises over the life cycle of a project. This helps the project remain on track and meet its goals. Risk management isn’t only reactive but should also be proactive. It should be part of the project planning process to figure out risks that might happen in the project and how to control these risks if they actually occur.

TRG Talk Project Management
Project projects everywhere and not a competent Project Manager in sight! The idea for TRG Talk: Project Management arose from an obvious growing need for real Project Managers. In Vietnam there is no Vietnamese Project Management qualification or Association. Many of us who practice project management in our businesses across a multitude of industries had continually complained about the lack of good project management and thus a group of us decided to do something about it.
