Hi, I’m an Application Support Consultant at TRG International! I graduated with a degree in Computer Science and came straight into this exciting multinational company, where my job involves making sure that TRG’s customers are satisfied with the software we provide to them. Basically I’m the first line of tech support, which means I have to record, screen and respond to customer support requests, troubleshoot and solve their problems or suggest workarounds, and work with our consultants to make appropriate fixes. I usually work on big SunSystems customers but also help out with other products when required.

Job Requirements

Here’s what you’ll need:

Junior level:  

  • 0-1+ years of application support experience 
  • Experience in ERP systems (SAP, SunSystems, Oracle) is an advantage 
  • Knowledge and experience of enterprise accounting 
  • Basic SQL 

 

Middle level: 

  • 2-3+ years of application support experience
  • Tech support experience (SAP, SunSystems, Oracle) is an advantage 
  • Working knowledge of SQL/ Oracle databases 
  • Knowledge and experience of enterprise accounting 

 

Both levels: 

  • Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Must be a team player, self-motivated, self-starter and quick learner 
  • Ability to organize and prioritise work, with the ability to multi-task 
  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, to interact effectively with internal and external users, peers, and management, to clearly and concisely communicate, to develop good working relationships and use facilitation skills 
  • A strong technical mindset, comfortable working in technical environments
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Sales or Business related field 
  • Experience with enterprise purchasing, inventory best practices and techniques is preferred. 
  • Fluently English (verbal and written) 
  • Chinese is an advantage 
  • Customer orientated
