Hi there! I’m Sarah and I’m a trainer at TRG International. We have 100s of employees across multiple teams in multiple sites in multiple countries, and as a large multinational company that is obsessed with hiring and developing the best talent, we do a LOT of training!

Right now we’re looking for a Training and Development Specialist to join us and help make sure we’re the best at training the best.

You’ll be responsible for all aspects of our training programmes, including building annual training programmes for individuals and teams:

  • Consulting with line managers to establish individual employee career paths and training needs
  • Keeping up to date on the latest training & HR trends and best practices
  • Developing online and offline training materials and handouts
  • Continually monitoring the effectiveness of our training programmes in relation to employee work performance
  • Preparing and justifying training budgets

Job Requirements

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to present complex information to a variety of audiences 
  • Manage time effectively 
  • Good computer and database skills 
  • Decision making and organizational skills 
  • Proficiency in MS Office, PowerPoint and in database software 
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc) 
  • Familiarity with talent management and succession planning 
  • Proven work experience as a Training and Development Specialist 
  • Proven ability to master the full training cycle 
  • Proven experience in designing multiple training events in a corporate setting 
  • Ability to plan and handle multi-tasking 
  • Track record in designing and executing successful training programs 
  • Strong writing and record keeping ability for reports and training manuals 
  • Ability to conduct cost-benefit analysis and calculate training ROI 
  • Minimum 3 years of training experience 
  • BS degree in education, human resources or relevant field
